AXLR8 office Address
Oakdale, Lower Wokingham Road, Crowthorne, Berkshire, RG45 6BX. That postal code gets you within 50m on Google Maps.
///punk.activism.slides finds the front gates on “What3Words”.
Please note that training courses are not normally here. They are normally three miles away at Easthampstead Park Conference Centre.
AXLR8 office by public transport
We are 600m (10 mins walk) from Crowthorne (CRN) station and 4km from Wokingham (WKM) Station. The taxi ride from Wokingham varies but the train ride is 4 mins and normally included in the round trip
Both are a connection from Reading General (RDG) if you take the Paddington (PAD) line.
Wokingham is also on the Waterloo (WAT) to Reading (RDG) line and so if you come out of London from Waterloo you will need to change at Wokingham to get to Crowthorne.
The 3b bus from the depot across the road from Bracknell (BCE) rail station also drops at the north end of our road (other end from CRN) with a 600m walk to our office.
AXLR8 office by car
We are exactly half way down the Lower Wokingham Road (A321) which is near enough a mile long. The building, Oakdale, has big brick gateposts and a long wooden fence which you can see on Google’s Street View. We are opposite a road called Bramley Grove which is the best way to locate us as there are no street numbers. If you get close and cannot find us, please pull in to one of the many side roads, call the office and someone will pop out to stand outside or, if necessary come and find you. If you have found us, it will say Oakdale on the outer gateposts and you will be looking down a gravel drive where you will see cars parked.
AXLR8 office by any other means
If you arrive by any other form of transport, please warn us and try not to frighten the wildlife on approach or departure.
Accomodation/Work life balance
Let us know if you need help with hotels especially if you travel a long way to get here or or are attending a training over several days at our nearby training centre. If you are coming this way, there are excellent country walks, lakes, sports centres, pools and other leisure facilities if you plan in a bit of “you” time or if you are travelling with a companion who is not involved in the meetings.
